Question:
In "Lord of the Flies", what question does the little 'un with the birthmark raise?
2.How do Ralph and Jack answer the question about the beast? I need help with those 2 questions in chapter 2.

The boy with the mulberry colored birthmark on his face tells the others that there is a "beastie" on the island. He says that it comes during the night, and he is afraid that it will eat them. Jack tells the group of boys that if there is a beast, he will hunt it and kill it. Ralph, on the other hand, tries to dissuade their fears and says that a beast couldn't possibly live on the island.
