Bio
I was born in Madrid, Spain, though a am an American citizen since both of my parents were American-born. I have lived in the US since I was two years old. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1999 (GPA of 3.93) from Mississippi University for Women with a degree in English and Education and a minor is Spanish. I have been teaching for seven years. I teach or have taught at every level of high school English, but I love AP Literuature the best. I have also been the sponsor of our school's drama club for the past three years. I have three children, the youngest of whom will graduated from high school last year. My other two children are grown and have left the proverbial nest. I am currently back in school and on my way towards earning my master's degree in English. Time is so difficult to find. On another note, I was recently published for the first time in a poetry magazine this year! I had two poems accepted. I have always been a closet poet and writer, but this was my first real attempt at publication, so I am thrilled that both of my submissions were accepted. I hope to continue writing and maybe someday publish a collection of my work.
Interests
Reading, writing, theatre, sketching and computers.
